Hi, Dr MY Consultant Neurologist & Epileptologist Medico-Legal expert from Medico-Legal & Neuroscience Partnership. I am a Consultant Neurologist who also specialises in Epilepsy.

I work as a locum consultant neurologist at St George’s University Hospital. As part of my clinical work I help run an acute general neurology service, and also run specialist clinics for patients with epilepsy, fits, faints and funny turns, and patients with functional neurological disorders (including functional seizures).

Within my general and acute clinics I frequently see patients with neuropsychiatric symptoms and head injuries. In addition to this, I carry out regular vagal nerve stimulation and tertiary level epilepsy clinics. I see approximately 1000 new patients per year and a similar number of follow-up patients in my clinical practice.

I have a PHD in neurology and epilepsy, and my current research interests include neuroimaging, and functional neurological disorders including functional non-epileptic seizures. I have published widely in prestigious peer reviewed journals, given talks at national and international conferences, and won national and international prizes for this research.

For my Medico-Legal work I have been able to provide Neurological opinions for both Claimant and Defence matters as well as legal aid and Clinical Negligence matters. I am happy to provide Home visits, Weekend visits and Prison visits across the UK to assess clients to be able to provide my Medico-Legal report.
